“Understanding Family Terrorism Networks” presentation

“Understanding Family Terrorism Networks”, a presentation by Professor Dean C. Alexander, will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 25 at the Moline Public Library (3210 41st Street, Moline, IL). Free and open to the public.

Based on his groundbreaking book, Family Terror Networks (2019), Alexander addresses the aspects of family terror networks and their implications, how to counter international terrorism, and the future of these networks. He proposes a model for predicting and combating this type of political violence, making the presentation of interest to police and the general public.

Alexander is Professor/Director, Homeland Security Research Program at Western Illinois University. He has published other books on terrorism, including The Islamic State: Combating the Caliphate Without Borders (Lexington Books, 2015) and Business Confronts Terrorism: Threats and Responses (University of Wisconsin Press, 2004), as well as written many Op-Eds and academic journal articles.
